Help park cars in grass area that we will use as parking lot. Create rows of parking, park cars next to each other to maximize space.

Extremely important job. Your job is to coordinate parking to maximize the number of vehicles at SASM. Date: 3/10/2012 Time: 1:15 pm to 4:10 pm Location: Strategic Air and Space Muesum Report to SASM's Matt Anderson. If possible stay for an additional hour to help with course monitor.

Work at race day packet pickup to help participants receive race bibs and answer any questions might have. Date: March 10th, 2012 Required Time: 1:30 pm to 3:50 pm.

Help with various jobs at Start/Finish Line assisting race timer. Including print receipt results, backup timing, chute congestion help.

Help with various duties on course to insure that runners do not get lost and traffic cones are setup. Jobs include moving traffic cones. Standing at "tricky turns" to point runners in correct area. Generally assisting runners to ease confusion or conjestion. Once race complete move cones off the road or into truck.

Bikers to assist runners on course. 1) Lead Biker: Stays with the lead runner the entire race (starts with ladies wave). Bike course will follow the running course and be expected to know route. Will ride on road and off-road section. 2) Lead Male Biker: Starts with male wave. Stays in front of lead male pack and attempts to get ladies out of the way as the lead males pass them. Bike course will follow the running course and be expected to know route. Will ride on road and off-road section. 3) 2nd Wave of Men Lead Biker: Stay with second pack of men. Provide similar support as lead male biker, helping warn female runners of passing males... 4) Sweep Biker: Stays behind the last runner announcing last runner to volunteers as pass. May have to insure that last runner stays out of the way of the lead biker/runner near theathre.

Setup water station near mile 3. Pour water into cups and hand out to runners as they pass by. Once last runner leaves area tear down tables, pickup trash, and leave area as found.

Inside the Air Hanger. After the start of the race help setup tables and chairs if needed. Setup water, fruit, or other food in race recovery area. Then help "hand out" or keep water/food supply stocked. Big key is to keep line moving and not cause traffic jam to delay runners from finishing.

As runners arrive, they may wish to leave some personal belongings and clothing layers in a bag. You will be collecting bags and labeling them with last name and bib number and then putting them in order for easy pickup after the race. You will be provided with bags and sharpie markers. Runners may also be encouraged to keep personal belongings in their vehicle.

Tear down tents, race course equipment, and load into Truck. Free entry provided in return for help.
